Happy Easter! How do you guys celebrate it? Or don't you?

I go to church, then my family usually has a big dinner. And we get lots of candy



Ok...I read Twilight. Yep, I said it.

Seriously, what's the hype about? It was alright, but it wasn't that good.

I laughed at the most inappropriate times, too. Like at this lovely moment:

"About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was part of him — and I didn’t know how potent that part might be — that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him."



This was on the back of the book also, before I even reached this part. I read it (very dramatically) to my friend (who has read the book also) and she started laughing too. Then when I actually got to this part...Oh lord...to explain to my mother why I was dying of laughter, I just had to give her the book and told her to read the back. She just rolled her eyes.

Sorry...anywayz...

So it was alright. Not my favorite book by any means, but ok. There were some amusing parts of the book. And Alice is pretty awesome, I gotta say.

But seriously, who would go bat-shit crazy over it? Ew...That's just completely weird and unreasonable. I have no desire to see the movie, and the sequels? Meh...maybe, if I have time. I've got other stuff to read, though, so that'll have to wait.

Well...as I haven't updated since the 25th, here's my little update.

Didn't have classes the week of the 23rd at all, as we had to go sandbag. The friggin' river crest predictions fluctuated. We got evacuated that Friday (27) and the river crested on the 28-29. We had a blizzard on Tuesday (31)

They canceled last week's classes as well

As of today, we are back in class. We haven't had class for THREE WEEKS. We have to make up one of those weeks, which means we basically don't have an Easter Break, plus they rearranged finals to make some room for classes.

Ugh...

AND the river might crest AGAIN or 2 more times if it so pleases. Which means they might evacuate us again, if it gets bad (supposedly 40-41 feet again)

AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

No, my school isn't in the danger zone, which is why I was so shocked when they said we had to get out of here that Friday. But there were problems with the sewers and water, and they couldn't have us here for that. Plus, if the dikes broke, we'd be an island, and would be stuck.

I hate the Red River of the North.

And I hate having to cram all this in. My professor today, did cut out some stuff and move things back...but it still sucks.



K...so I kinda like the show Naruto...if only for the secondary characters (Anko, Shikamaru, Hinata, and Neji, ftw)

I actually watched the last episode of the first part of the series (I skip around...I only watch the stuff I want to watch...I get enough of the main plot that way, believe it or not ) So that means I can watch Shippuden! Yay!

What I've found is that the Shippunden is better, and the original Japanese is better too (they swear in it and there's more blood...come on!)
